Samantha Rays, it isn't her real name, but Hell, she goes by it, so I'll use it. She was raised in Nice, France. Not a real important fact, but if you meet her you might be able to strike up a conversation about the area, might stir up some memories she would be willing to share over a nice glass of brandy. Anyway, none of that is important, not even to her. Rays is young, which makes her a little head strong, aren't all the young ones? Thanks to the fact that she's an orphan she doesn't have the benefit of knowing much about Mage society, which leaves her and her friends at something of a disadvantage in this life.
When Samantha Rays first Awakened, she was eighteen when it happened, a NWO agent was there to bring her into the flock, but Rays didn't like authority, and she didn't like being told she had no choice, so in an unexpected move she stroke out at the agent. Without thinking, Rays made the air around her crackle and heat up, she forced something out of nothing, and the NWO agent was consumed in a crippling fireball. At this point, Rays did the only thing she could think of, she ran, and she hasn't stopped running since.
We have watched and studied her since her humbling beginnings as street magician, all the way up to her stint as a mainstream magician, which ended quickly thankfully, when she recieved low ratings. My Cabal has determinded that Rays is more threat than help due to her lack of control. When she is angry she strikes out with her magick which makes her a magnet for Iteration X's Shockwave troops and the NWO's MiB. (No Clapping.) Thanks to the attention she gets, she is one person you may want to stay away from.
